Nuzzy ("we", "us") makes an iOS app that helps households track their pets' medications, doses and chronic-illness care. This policy explains what we collect and why. In short: we don't sell your data and we don't use it for advertising.
What we collect
- Account information — when you sign in (with Apple, Google, or email), we receive your email address and a user identifier to create and secure your account. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
- Your pet & care data — pets, medications, schedules, dose logs and health metrics you enter. This is stored on your device (SwiftData). If you enable Household Sync (a paid feature), the pets and dose records for that household are also stored in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) so other members you invite can see them in real time.
- Subscription status — whether you have a Free, Pro or Care plan, managed through RevenueCat and Apple's App Store. We never receive your card or payment details; Apple handles all payments.
- Diagnostics, usage & session replay — crash reports, product events and visual session recordings used to diagnose confusing or broken app flows. Session replay can include text and images rendered on screen, including pet names, medication details, schedules, dose logs and health metrics. Replays are linked to an app-generated identifier, not used for advertising, and do not capture network traffic.
How we use it
- To provide the app: reminders, dose history, household sync, refill alerts, chronic-illness templates and vet-ready PDF reports (generated on your device).
- To operate accounts and subscriptions.
- To fix bugs and improve reliability.
We do not sell your personal information or your pet's health data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Sharing
Data is shared only with the service providers that run the app — Google Firebase (authentication, crash reporting and household sync), RevenueCat and Apple (subscriptions), and PostHog (product analytics and session replay) — and only as described in this policy. Household records are visible to the members you invite to your household.
Your choices & rights
- Delete your account — in the app, go to Profile → Delete Account. This permanently removes your account and associated pet, medication and dose data.
- Access & export — you can export a health report as a PDF from within the app.
- Contact us — email privacy@opstudio.dev for any privacy request.
Data retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete your account, we delete your account data and household records associated with you.
Children
Nuzzy is intended for adults caring for pets and is not directed at children under 13.
Not veterinary advice
Nuzzy is an organizational tool. It is not a veterinary or medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Always follow your veterinarian's instructions.
